Job Description:
A company is looking for a Lead Member Advocate to act as a
liaison between members and providers, ensuring access to care.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and respond to member complaints and grievances,
identifying and resolving access barriers
Participate in local community organizations to understand members'
health care needs and update educational materials
Serve as the primary contact for member advocacy groups and manage
community outreach events
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of customer service experience in a managed care or
insurance environment
Experience with member complaints; Medicare and/or Medicaid
experience preferred
Must be cross-trained in another major functional area within the
business unit
Should have lived experience as a Health Plan enrollee for the
Oklahoma Complete Health Plan
